In 2025 with the inception of the Career Pathway Support Networks, each regional center was tasked with forming a Steering Committee to assist each CPSN hub throughout the two year grant cycle.  The Regional Steering Committee listens to the CPSN plans, participates in discussion, and assists in keeping all initiatives focused on increasing access to and participation in middle grades (7-10) career-technical education, ensuring all students receive high-quality career advising and mentoring, and more grant activities centered on these topics. The Southwest Steering Committee meets multiple times per year in a combination of in-person and virtual meetings, with individual communication touchpoints as needed.

This curated group is intended to be small in nature and active in the region with education, workforce development, and career-connected learning.
