2026 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program

Ohio ACTE is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2026 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program Career and Technical Education designation.

The U.S. Department of Education recently confirmed the continuation of the program for 2026, resulting in a condensed nomination window at the state level. We appreciate your flexibility and prompt attention as we work within this shortened timeline.

Ohio ACTE, in partnership with the Office of Career-Technical Education at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, will nominate up to five Ohio students for national consideration. Eligible nominees must be high school seniors enrolled in approved career-tech programs and graduating between January and August of 2026.

The deadline to submit nominations to Ohio ACTE is February 2, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Late or incomplete submissions cannot be considered due to federal timelines.
