Scrubs Camp

For the past four consecutive years, the Career Pathway Support Network Southwest Region has hosted students for an intensive, immersive, healthcare professions experience called Scrubs Camp. At these Scrubs camps, students spend time learning about a variety of different professions in the medical field, see what higher education majors are offered in those areas, and have hands-on practice in low-risk settings really exploring the opportunities that could await them in this industry.

Cincinnati State hosts a weeklong experience, where students engage with faculty, staff, and industry professionals over the course of five days. During these sessions, students not only learn about Cincinnati State programs, but also tour local healthcare providers, namely the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Clifton.
