The INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati is excited to be hosting it’s annual technology conference for high school students on February 18-19th @ Great American Ballpark, TechOlympics 2023: Electrify. Please read below for more information regarding the event, you don’t want your students to miss out!

Who we are

INTERalliance strives to engineer and execute experiences designed to inspire young talent to pursue a career in the Greater Cincinnati IT industry. We look to dramatically grow and diversify the IT talent pipeline by designing and delivering innovative technology programs, in partnership with businesses, high schools, and universities.

What we do

We believe that by partnering with the region’s businesses and high schools to execute a diverse portfolio of technology events, Cincinnati will create a thriving pool of IT talent by retaining its brightest minds.

  • TechOlympics, our biggest event of the year, is the largest student-led technology conference in the nation.
  • Our internships help students engage with Fortune 500 Companies and gain real-world experience.
  • At the smaller level, our chapter program brings INTERalliance right to your school, in the form of a club.

Whether your students have their career path fixed or are still exploring, we want to help them succeed in any field they enter.

What is TechOlympics?

TechOlympics 2023: Electrify is Cincinnati’s premiere technology competition and expo. Here, students will be able to spend two days competing with their peers in challenges ranging from programming to design to networking, with fun events happening throughout the weekend as well. They will also be able to get hands-on assistance with creating a professional resume and learning how to conduct themselves during a formal job interview. Additionally, all students will have direct access to Cincinnati’s biggest employers, such as P&G, Fifth Third Bank, and GE, many of whom will be looking for summer interns and future co-ops.

Why should my students attend TechOlympics?

  • Students will have the opportunity to engage with industry veterans in Cincinnati’s IT ecosystem, learning hands-on about what could be a potential career path for them.
  • Students will be able to attend sessions pertaining to interviewing, resumes, and more, preparing them to apply to their dream job/internship.
  • INTERalliance annually partners with a number of Fortune 500 companies in Cincinnati to offer students summer internships. Students will be able to network with these employers and gain an edge in the application process.
  • Students will be able to gain exposure to and be trained in the latest industry-relevant skills. TechOlympics houses a number of sessions where students can learn new technologies such as Python, PowerBI, and GitHub.
  • Most importantly, students will able to meet other tech-passionate peers. They’ll be able to have a blast while competing in various competitions and being immersed in the world of technology for two days!!

Scholarships

The INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati is also able to provide a very limited number of need-based scholarships to TechOlympics. The requests will be processed in the order in which they are received until the scholarship fund is depleted. Please ask your students to fill out this form to request a scholarship.
